FLT / Warehouse Operative, Fareham

The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Op/Forklift Driver, to work at our client's busy distribution site, based in Segensworth, Fareham.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Operating a counterbalance Forklift truck
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trailers
• Moving pallets around the warehouse
• Stripping down and/or building pallets
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Sending freight to the UK and Channel Islands
• Working outside in the yard
• General warehouse duties

This is physical and fast-paced work. You will be partly working outside in all weather conditions. You will be required to have a valid counterbalance Forklift license and warehouse experienced to be considered for this position. You will partly operate a counterbalance Forklift and partly assist with general warehouse duties, the role is not all Forklift driving.

This is for an ongoing position, with a March/April start date. In the time prior to your start date, you will register with our agency and go for an interview with the client. If successful, that is when you will agree a start date for March/April.

Working hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00. Overtime will be available at times.

Current pay rate is £12.50 per hour. Post-April, this will increase to £13.50 per hour.
